Revenues up 9.1%
to € 83.2 Million
AUBAY posted revenues of € 83.2 million for the first six months of 2008, up 9.1% on the previous period. This purely organic growth remained stable throughout the second quarter of the year, notably in France (11%) and Italy (22%).
SUSTAINED BUSINESS ACTIVITY
Thanks to a strong business dynamic and increase in its packaged offers, Aubay Group enjoyed a great deal of commercial success during the first half of 2008: in France, its Skills Centers (or Service Centers) and TMA offers proved particularly successful with some of the Group’s largest clients such as BNP Paribas Assurances, BNP Paribas BDDFI, BP2S, AGF, EULER HERMES, Orange and France Telecom, etc.
Moreover, the Group’s strategy for Europe is continuing to bear fruit and has led to the signing of numerous contracts thanks to the Group’s listings with different market players. In fact, AUBAY has once again been listed with France Telecom for a further three years in France, Belgium and Spain.
Overwhelmed by strong demand from their clients, the Group’s activities in Belgium/Luxembourg, Spain and France suffered from recruitment problems. In order to resolve the problem, the Group has already launched a widespread action plan which includes the reinforcement of its recruitment teams, various dedicated events and new communications resources and initiatives.
On June 30, 2008, the Group’s payroll amounted to 2,098 compared to 2,030 one year earlier (proforma data).
OUTLOOK
Against this buoyant backdrop, Aubay Group’s target revenue remains unchanged at around € 172 million for 2008.
Aubay will publish its half-yearly results for 2008 on Tuesday 16 September after the close of trading.
